TERMS AND PRIVACY POLICY Candiscover Travel Corp.
By submitting an application to participate in any tour, program, or event organized by Candiscover Travel Corp., I (the applicant/participant) confirm that I have carefully read, fully understood, and unconditionally accepted the following Terms and Privacy Policy. These terms are legally binding under the applicable laws of Canada and the jurisdictions in which the company operates.
1. Voluntary Participation I confirm that I am submitting this application voluntarily and of my own free will, without any pressure or coercion. Legal Reference: Canadian Contract Law – Principle of Voluntariness
2. Non-Refundable Application and Registration Fee I understand and agree that the application and registration fee is non-refundable under any circumstances as it covers administrative and technical costs and does not guarantee selection or participation. 3. Accuracy of Information and Authenticity of Documents I certify that all the information and documents I provide are true and accurate. I understand that providing false, misleading, or fraudulent information may result in the rejection of my application or termination of my participation. Legal Reference: Criminal Code of Canada, Section 366 – Forgery
4. Selection and Registration Process I acknowledge that the selection and registration process is conducted fairly, objectively, and based on internal criteria. The decision of Candiscover Travel Corp. is final and not subject to appeal.
5. Authorization for Verification I authorize Candiscover Travel Corp. to verify the information I have provided and contact any individuals or organizations named in my documents. Legal Reference: PIPEDA – Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act
6. Privacy and Use of Personal Data Candiscover Travel Corp. will use my personal information solely for the purposes of registration, verification, and legal compliance. Legal Reference: PIPEDA (Canada), GDPR (EU)
7. Official Communication Channels All official communication will take place only via:
• Emails ending with @candiscover.com and @cccd.ca
• Official social media accounts of the organization Participants must regularly check their emails. Failure to read, open, or locate emails in spam/junk folders does not exempt the participant from responsibility.
8. Confidentiality of Internal Correspondence and Defamation All internal correspondence and decisions of Candiscover Travel Corp. must remain confidential unless explicitly authorized in writing. 9. Conduct and Protection of Reputation Participants may not share or publish any false, defamatory, or unverified claims about the organization or its members. Such behavior may lead to civil liability. Legal Reference: Canadian Defamation Law
10. Force Majeure and Program Modifications Candiscover Travel Corp. reserves the right to reschedule, modify, or cancel any program due to natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, safety concerns, weather conditions, or other force majeure events.
11. Termination of Participation and Cost Recovery If I violate these Terms, behave inappropriately, or obstruct the program, Candiscover Travel Corp. reserves the right to terminate my participation without prior notice or refund.
In such cases, Candiscover Travel Corp. may demand full or partial reimbursement of expenses incurred on my behalf (e.g., transportation, accommodation, meals, entrance fees) based on the Cost Recovery Notice.
The Cost Recovery Notice consists of official receipts for project-related expenses covered by the organization. These receipts must:
• Be issued during the official program period (May 20–25, 2025)
• Be directly related to the project
12. Jurisdiction and Legal Obligations Any legal matters arising from this agreement shall be governed by Canadian law and resolved in courts located in Canada. The organization also reserves the right to initiate legal proceedings in the participant’s country of residence if necessary.
Upon receiving any official legal document from Candiscover Travel Corp., the participant must:
• Either accept the document in writing, or
• Submit a justified written objection
Failure to respond in writing—even without a signature—will be interpreted as acceptance in favor of the organization.
13. Program Terms and Financial Commitments The Discover Canada – Cultural Exchange Program is scheduled for May 20–25, 2025. Arrival in Canada: May 20, 2025
Departure from Canada: May 25, 2025
Registration Fee: $46 USD (optional)
During this period, the following expenses will be covered by the organization:
• Local transportation
• Daily meals (with a limit)
• Accommodation (hotel, Airbnb, or approved lodging)
• Entrance fees to museums and cultural institutions
These benefits are valid only between May 20, 12:00 AM – May 25, 12:00 AM. Participants may not claim reimbursement for any costs incurred outside of this timeframe. If any claims are deemed exploitative, the organization may initiate legal proceedings in the participant’s home country.
Each participant will be sent a legal agreement prior to the trip. Upon receipt, the participant must accept it in writing or provide a justified written refusal. Failure to do so will be considered consent, even without a signature.
14. Health and Dietary Requirements Participants with specific health conditions or dietary needs must inform the organization via email prior to the program. The organization will respond with an official reply and attempt to accommodate the request where feasible.
15. Media Consent I consent to being photographed and recorded during the program and authorize Candiscover Travel Corp. to use my image and voice in:
• Marketing and promotional content
• Social media platforms
• Educational and documentary materials This consent is irrevocable, royalty-free, and granted in perpetuity. Legal Reference: Canadian Copyright Act, GDPR
Legal Notice – Online Agreement and Enforceability These Terms and Privacy Policy are published on the official website of Candiscover Travel Corp. and are integrated into the application process.
Applicants must review and agree to the terms before proceeding to the next stage. Consent is collected via a checkbox or “I Agree” button, and the system records the date, IP address, and submission details.
This process ensures legal enforceability under Common Law contract principles.
