Discover Canada – Cultural Exchange Program 2025: A Milestone in Cultural Diplomacy

Organized in partnership by Candiscover Travel Corp and the Canadian Center for Cultural Diplomacy, the Discover Canada – Cultural Exchange Program was successfully conducted from May 20 to 25, 2025, with sponsorship from Diplomatic Protocol and Event Management Inc.

As part of this initiative, a select group of international participants—originally chosen from a pool of 25 young leaders representing the Philippines, Pakistan, Ethiopia, the United Kingdom, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Bangladesh, Ghana, and Nigeria—had the opportunity to visit Canada and engage in an immersive cultural learning experience.

During the program, the delegates explored the cities of Toronto, Hamilton, Montreal, Ottawa, and Niagara. They visited museums, historical landmarks, and took part in the iconic Niagara Boat Tour, experiencing firsthand the natural and cultural richness of Canada.

This initiative served as a powerful platform to promote Canada’s values of multiculturalism, openness, and international cooperation. By fostering intercultural dialogue and global connections, the program contributed meaningfully to Canada’s soft power and public diplomacy efforts.

The Discover Canada program stands as a clear example of how Canada continues to invest in youth engagement and cultural exchange as tools to build global understanding and strengthen the country’s international profile through cultural diplomacy.
