Discover Canada – Alberta 2026 | Cultural Exchange Program

Program Overview

Located in Western Canada, the province of Alberta is widely recognized not only for its stunning mountain landscapes, pristine nature, and national parks but also as a reliable host for international events. The regions of Calgary, Banff, and Kananaskis have become distinguished geographical and cultural hubs that attract travelers, scholars, diplomats, and cultural ambassadors from around the world.

In particular, Banff National Park and Kananaskis Country are among Canada’s most spectacular natural treasures — with crystal-clear mountain lakes, scenic hiking trails, rich forest ecosystems, and protected natural reserves, making this area one of the world’s most sought-after destinations for both ecotourism and cultural tourism. The city of Calgary, on the other hand, is a vibrant urban center that embodies the harmony of modern infrastructure with nature and innovation.

This historic event once again affirmed the region’s strategic importance and capacity to host high-level international gatherings.
