The Discover Vancouver-2025 program was organized by the Discover Canada – Cultural Exchange Program and the Canadian Center for Cultural Diplomacy (CCCD), with the generous sponsorship of Diplomatic Protocol and Event Management INC.

This unique four-day cultural exchange initiative brought together 30 international participants selected from around the world. Only a portion of them were able to attend the program in person. The group included both fully funded and partially funded participants. In addition, special consideration was given to individuals who had been selected in previous programs but were unable to participate at that time, allowing them to join this year’s experience.

Held from August 25–29, 2025, in Vancouver, British Columbia, the program offered participants the opportunity to experience Canada’s cultural diversity, natural beauty, and social values while fostering international friendships and cross-cultural understanding.

Participants were welcomed at Vancouver International Airport (YVR) and accommodated in exclusive Discover Canada Cultural Exchange Villas, each providing private rooms for comfort and privacy. The villas offered a full range of amenities, including a cinema room, indoor games, lounge areas, and social activity spaces, ensuring participants enjoyed both comfort and community throughout their stay.

During the program, participants explored Vancouver’s most iconic cultural and natural landmarks, including:

• Vancouver City Tour – Gastown, Canada Place, and Stanley Park
• Granville Island Tour and Queen Elizabeth Park 
• English Bay Beach and Cypress Mountain – breathtaking coastal and mountain views
• Vancouver Public Library and Capilano Suspension Bridge Park
• Lynn Canyon Park and several scenic lakes across the region
• An Indigenous Cultural Experience, offering a deeper understanding of Canada’s First Nations heritage and traditions

For participants, this journey was more than a trip — it was a memorable experience filled with friendship, learning, leadership, and cultural discovery.

The Discover Vancouver: Cultural Exchange Program continues to embody the principles of Canadian cultural diplomacy, promoting mutual understanding, collaboration, and cultural unity among young people from around the world
